- Shoutouts: I'll plug what you're doing on my newsletter. Great for soft calls to action where Legends can get to know you. Blogs, podcasts, freebies, events, etc.
- Collaborations: I'll share your request for collabs and you can find potential collaborators
- Celebrations: Spread the word about your wins! Awards, business anniversaries and major press.
- Classified ad: I'll run a one sentence ad and link for you (guaranteed 3 per year and more if I have space!) Great for selling stuff. These get the most clicks.
- Introductions: I will facilitate double opt-in intros (share types of people or specific names)
- Recommendations: From me or the Legends. Past asks have included "best business insurance" and "good communities for LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs."
- Anything else I or the Legends can help with
Choose whatever suits your request best and I'll switch it if I need to.
What's a celebration? Things like awards, business anniversaries, major press and other notable achievements. If you're sharing something promotional, switch to a Shoutout or Classified Ad.
What's the difference between a shoutout and a classified ad? Ideally, shoutouts are less transactional. More like stories you wrote, events you're hosting, freebies you launched, stuff you're proud of, stuff other Legends can dig into. Ads are for selling and I highlight them better in editorial issues so they'll get more clicks than shoutouts. You get 3 classifieds per year guaranteed and more if I have the space!
What to expect
- Shoutouts, collab requests and celebrations will go in the Tuesday newsletter. Keep in mind that I rotate these to feature as many Legends as possible so always send stuff my way, but not everything will make it in.
- Classified ads go in Sunday and Thursday issues unless they need to go on a Tuesday. I'll be in touch with dates for your ad.
- Introductions I will check with all parties before making.
- Recommendations, you can choose private (from me) or public (in the newsletter).
Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. You can send as many of these requests as you want and I will fulfill as many as I can. Be mindful I'm just one person :)
